CAN I BRING MY DOG?

While we are clearly huge dog lovers, we cannot accommodate outside pets or guest dogs at Nosara Blue. With five resident Canine Ambassadors already holding down the fort, our property is at "max canine capacity." Adding an unfamiliar dog into our pack’s established territory is a recipe for stress—for our dogs, for your dog, and for you. For the safety and peace of all our guests, we maintain a strict no-pets policy.

A NOTE ON SERVICE ANIMALS & INTEGRITY

We have deep respect for legitimate, task-trained service animals that provide essential assistance to their handlers. However, we must be very clear: please do not misrepresent a pet as a service animal. The trend of "fake service animals" creates a massive hurdle for the tourism industry and, more importantly, delegitimizes the needs of people who truly rely on highly trained assistance dogs. Because our resident dogs live and work here as security, bringing an unauthorized animal onto the property under false pretenses creates a high-risk environment.

 

LIABILITY & NO-REFUND POLICY

 

Please do not assume that because we have dogs, your dog is welcome to join the party. It is a common misconception that our property functions like a dog park—it does not.

Zero Liability: Nosara Blue takes zero responsibility for the safety or well-being of any unauthorized dog brought onto the property. Our dogs are protectors of this land; they are a pack, and they will defend their home. If you choose to ignore this policy and show up with a dog, you are doing so at your own risk and the risk of your animal.

No Refunds: If you arrive with a pet or a misrepresented service animal and find yourself uncomfortable with our pack, or if we have to ask you to leave/find alternative boarding, no refunds will be issued. Our pet policy is clearly stated to prevent these exact situations.
